Why I Want to be a Fairy.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well! I am so sorry I wasn't able to publish a post last week, I have been a bit ill over the past week and was unable to sit up without a headache, let alone write. This is your sign to make sure you're taking care of yourself, mentally and physically. Since I have been a bit out of it lately and I also currently have exams going on, I decided to write about something whimsical and random. I actually had really bad writer's block and was struggling to think of a topic and so my friend told me I should write about why I, a 17 year old girl, wants to be a fairy. I think the approach I have taken to answering this question is wrong. The real question that should be asked is why wouldn't anyone want to be a fairy?

1) Fairies can fly. I know we can technically 'fly' by using planes and helicopters and stuff but on a real note, who would not want a pair of glittery wings that can take you anywhere you want at any time. An added bonus is that there is also no traffic when you fly so I don't need to worry about getting late to places. Also like flying would probably mean I would get insane lats and if you didn't know, back workouts are my all time favourite.

2) I would have magic powers. If I was a fairy I would definitely choose to be either a fire element fairy or an air element fairy. I feel like those two have always been elements I have resonated with the most and if you can manipulate air, you can basically manipulate anything because everything on Earth has air around it.

3) Fairies get to be around flowers all day. I LOVE FLOWERS and I always feel a lot of guilt when picking fresh flowers. Call me childish but if I pick flowers I always worry that Mother Earth will cry because we injured her. If I was a fairy, I would not need to pick any flowers, I could also live in one which is so cool!

4) I would be able to talk to animals and make plants bloom. If you don't know me very well, you should know that I love animals more than people. I do feel that we as humans do have a certain level of understanding on what animals are trying to express but having a full on conversation with a horse or a dog would be so much better than having a conversation with a real human people. The making plants bloom thing is something I literally convinced myself I could do when I was little. For some reason, I was genuinely convinced that if I put my hand over a flower or something then it would bloom XDD.

5) I would not have to worry about actual life problems. Yes, the main reason I want to be a fairy is so I can fly around all day, play with animals and sleep inside flowers and essentially run, or should I say fly, away from my problems.

6) I can show myself to young children and make them believe that they saw a fairy for that extra bit of magic in their life. When I was little, I always thought that if I looked hard enough, I'd be able to see fairies in the forest and they would help me develop my magic powers which I definitely had. I would just love to show up to random children and bring a bit of magic into their lives.

7) Let's end it on a good number, the last reason I want to be a fairy is so I can marry a fictional fairy prince. We all know that fictional men are better than real men and they'd be even better as fairies. Like can you imagine, a gorgeous fictional character, with wings and an appreciation for nature is the most dreamy thing every. There are bonus points if he's a prince because obviously if I was a fairy, I'd be a fairy princess.

I still cannot believe I wrote this and am going to publish it out for the entire world to see but oh well, I live life dangerously and with no regrets I guess hahaha. I hope this answers my friend's question as to why I want to be a fairy. I hope you all have a good week and good luck if you have exams, love you guys <33
